The Creation of Consciousness: Jung’s Myth for Modern Man
By Edward F. Edinger
Although Carl Jung is the master from whose ideas so much of The Mythological Man stems, Edward Edinger was one of, if not Jung’s, closest students, and frankly, does a much better job at translating and applying archetypal psychology in a helpful way to the practical world. Edinger is capable of illuminating worlds that Jung only shines a light on, and it remains a true joy every time I read his work. Edinger is one of the most important authors in the TMM library, and this is an excellent introduction to his writing. It also perfectly follows up on reading The Undiscovered Self by Carl Jung.
